DE KLEINE WIJN KOÖP

De Kleine Wijn Koöp is head up by winemaker Wynand Grobler and his wife, Anya. The Groblers regard the 'cooperative' as a two-man family business and run the business from a small cellar with a dedicated team in the heart of Paarl. Wynand does not care much about corporate structures or large cellar teams — his main goal is to be personally involved in the winemaking process. He produces only small quantities of wine with prestigious grapes, and some mysterious vineyards from Stellenbosch, Swartland, Walker Bay, Franschhoek, Piekenierskloof and Paarl.

MONT ROCHELLE WINERY

Based in Franschhoek

At Mont Rochelle, we cultivate and nurture various grape varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon amongst a few others that are used for blending purposes to add complexity. The vineyards are situated between 250m and 400m above sea level exposing the grapes to a range of micro climates. Mediterranean-like conditions found in the Western Cape means dry summers and high winter rainfalls of 1000mm. The Franschhoek Valley also experiences the south-easter which helps bring in cooler air allowing for a longer ripening period.

CAMBERLEY WINES

Based in Stellenbosch

Visit this tiny winery for a truly personal wine tasting experience from the people who hand-craft the wines. Walk through the white rose garden, explore the small cellar — but most importantly settle down in the tasting room with Giscard and Johnny, who will tell you the stories behind the wines and help you discover your favorite!

ELGIN VINTERS

Based in Elgin

We have a deep connection with and understanding of our vineyards and terroir. Meticulous care is taken of our vineyards which produce well-balanced grapes packed with flavour. This process takes a whole season and our role as vintners is to capture this flavor in every glass. Belgin is based only an hour east of Cape Town, the high-lying cool-climate Elgin district, cradled in the ancient sandstone Hottentots Holland mountains.

NORMANDIE ESTATE

Based in Franschhoek

Our aim is to honor and progress our more than 300-year-old private estate and to produce iconic wines of exceptional quality by hand that match and represent the immense physical beauty and natural gifts of their origins. Our vineyards are surrounded by fresh springwater streams running down from the mountains, irrigating the clay layer in the sub soil and creating a perfect medium that acts as a buffer during the summer heat to protect the vines.
